Haven't found anything similar except your post. Mods for handheld Pip-Boys, like the 2500 or the Readius in New Vegas/FO3 would have issues if you exited the pipboy too fast, or were buggy looking in 3rd person, but are they relatively 'safe' to use now I'm using a lot of mods, but nothing that directly changes the Pip-Boy, save for some textures. The one in the power armor is still visible but you can hardly do anything while inside the armor.

I can still open up the pip boy and mvoe around in the menus and select stuff like normal but I only have audio cues to go off on as the entire thing is invisible.

Hey I'm fairly new to bethesda/FNV modding and I started up a save with TTW, Dragbody's FO4 PA mod and a handful of others (Including ItsMeJesusHChrist's Consistent Pip-Boy Icons mod, and DarN's DarNified UI, in case it's somehow relevant) and, while Dragbody strongly suggests installing a handheld pip-boy mod because of the PA engulfing the whole arm and making the inventory virtually un.
